How to use this tool
Enter a URL or short text. The QR library is hosted with this site; encoding and downloads happen in your browser with no API or CDN requests. The graphic includes a white quiet zone of four modules on every side. Keep it black on white and large enough for the room.
The short slide code is a display label only. It is not a URL shortener and has no hosted lookup or redirect. If an audience response system uses that code, configure the same code in that system yourself. PNG uses whole-pixel modules and is at least the selected width; SVG scales cleanly.
FAQ
Does the code create a short link?
No. The QR contains exactly the text you enter. The display code has no automatic connection to that destination.
Does this send my URL anywhere?
No. Encoding happens on this device. The site makes no QR-generation service request. A person scanning a URL may visit that URL normally.
How do I ensure it scans from the back?
Keep the quiet zone, avoid busy backgrounds, shorten the content and test on the actual screen from the farthest seat. Downloads contain the QR graphic; the display code is separate.
